We have a devastating and heartbreaking acknowledgment to make. Our beloved Lizzy unexpectedly passed away last week, at the young age of 35. Lizzy worked tirelessly with us every moment that we had our business, which forged a strong and beautiful bond between all of us. Lizzy was a very skilled baker and decorator who had an absolutely infectious laugh. She was a loyal friend and we are in complete shock. She was married to the love of her life just 6 short months ago and lost her father shortly before her wedding. As you can imagine, her loved ones are experiencing profound grief at this time. Her mother-in-law, Sandy, was also a loved member of our crew and relentlessly supported us- she is a lifelong friend. Those two were NotJoeAverage warriors. I always believed they were brought into our life as a blessing; one of a crew of ladies that sacrificed right along with us and worked hard with their hearts toward us. An enormous blessing! Please keep her family in your thoughts and prayers. Please allow her family privacy while they grieve. God bless you Lizzy. We love you. You will forever be in our hearts. If anyone has a special memory or experience with her and would like to share, please leave a note in the comments- we would love to pass on peoples’ delight with Lizzy, to her family!
Sincerely,
Amanda & Joey
