Waiting patiently all year for local tree ripened figs. First had these 26 years ago at the Washington Inn in Cape May with my brother Pat Young right before we opened Pat's Pub and Grill.

We believe strongly that there is no i in team. An old adage that is particularly true in the world of restaurants. The folks who do the hardest work and are tasked with the responsibilities that most shy away from are the engine that keeps everything working. Without them everything grinds to a halt, immediately.

We would like to throw a spotlight on one of our VIP's, who I could not imagine working without.

A couple years before I met Nathan, I witnessed him working at a previous employer. As someone who has had great success over decades of grooming and guiding staff who have gone on to great success leading other properties, the important foundational tenants of diligence, sense of urgency, and humility were glaringly evident in his work.

He is always first to offer humble assistance no matter the task and is always concerned about how everyone else is doing. The greatest marker of a true leader.

Today is his birthday and on behalf of the entire staff and everyone who has been fortunate enough to know him......Happy birthday Nathan!! We love ya!
