Unfortunately, some of the rumors that you have heard are true. Our landlord has terminated our lease and needs us to be out by the end of the month. It's not exactly clear why she has made this decision. It seems as though the fire last summer, the damages it caused, and the tensions that have risen seem to be motivating factors.
We have a great lawyer who is looking into it.
We're looking at other places to relocate to. We understand that what makes the Moose special is very much about that place and about our locals that come see us. Also, finding a place is such a small time frame is a really tall ask. But! It's worth a shot.
We are planning a BIG BLOWOUT BASH on APRIL 25th with live music from the MIDNIGHT HIPPIES! WE WILL HAVE BUSINESS AS USUAL UNTIL THEN. PLEASE COME SEE US BEFORE WE GO!
To the bands we already have booked this summer: If we can find a new place to relocate to, your dates will be honored. If not, our friend just bought a bar nearby, and it might just work out if you played there. Hang tight and we'll update ya.
This is all unbelievably sad. It was very unexpected, so everything is a scramble. We love you guys, this community, and Green Mountain Falls. We are unbelievably grateful for the years of support, love, and laughter that you have each brought to the Moose. Whether you're a local or just visiting from out of town, you're part of our Moose Family, and we are so grateful for you.
