After a long hiatus, getting ready to do some baking! I am doing a wedding cake later this week so in preparation, I made a simple vanilla cake to get back into the groove! I haven't baked anything in the new place, plus it's my first gas stove so thought I better do a practice run!

Hello friends!! It's been awhile since I've posted. I hope all of you had a wonderful holiday season. Happy new year! We made it to 2021! One thing I'd like to do this year is to learn how to bake one new thing each month. I started today by making a loaf of bread! For all the baking I've done, I've never done a loaf of bread...lol! I did a cheese bread with Italian herbs. I'm also toying with the idea of selling a treat of the month. More info on that to come. 😁
