Snow today, salad season tomorrow! That’s right in a day or two it’ll be 70 degrees for Peet’s sake. Grinders is your go to for a grab and go salad. Of course everybody’s got a chef salad and a Caesar salad and we’re no different. But we’ve also got a brisket salad served with Texas caviar that’s out of this world. Rounding out our salad lineup is the turkey Italiano this bad boy comes with turkey, pepperoni, capicola, and dusted with Parmesan cheese. It doesn’t matter if it’s a bowl of soup, a handcrafted sandwich or a unique fresh salad, Grinders has it all.

Thank you very much for making us Great Falls most popular soup destination. We sell on average over 3500 gallons of soup per year. Our number one soup is the Potato Bacon followed closely by Lobster Bisque and Steak and Bacon Chili. Creamy Chicken Noodle is a fourth but not by much. We take great pride in the soups that we produce and don’t cut corners. We cut fresh veggies and make real food. How long has it been since you’ve had a bowl of real soup?

Soup Talk episode 1
The sad truth is most restaurants serve Sysco soup. 50 years ago every restaurant in town made a soup daily. Now with rising labor costs and staff that hasn’t been taught to learn the art of making soup there are very few restaurants that still take the time to make their own soup. Some even add to a premade mix and call it scratch made. Unfortunately, as with most other Sysco products they are putting less and less real food and more and more fillers and gross stuff. Obviously here at Grinders we do not take that approach or I wouldn’t be calling out other restaurants for it. Our recipes are simple. We start with water and mirepoix (celery, carrot, and onion) then we add a specific seasoning mix’s that has been perfected over the years. Next, the ingredients that make each soup unique. Then they are finished by adding a roux and whole milk. Our soups are available by the cup, bowl, quart or in 3 or 4 item flights. We are also on DoorDash for your convenience.
