I am thrilled with these cuties!! One of the reasons we as breeders hatch our own is to see what our breeding pairs are throwing. I would have never anticipated a chocolate chick to come from a black hen and cuckoo rooster😳. How does this happen? I will do a post about it soon. Comment below if you want me to tag you when I do the post.

Just received this message yesterday from a customer who bought chicks from me. I’m just thrilled for her. No surprise that everyone is loving the Heavenly Sequoias™️🤗🤗🤗

I’m still filling hatching egg order for customers and don dare say that I will be taking orders for the 2027 season in December😳😳

**Available adult chickens**

I am making 2-3 flocks available with 2-3 hens and one rooster. The hens have been my breeding hens for the past year and they have been tested under the NPIP state certification program. Many of the girls have been molting and they are had less feathers from mating, so some are a little bare in areas. None of the hens are available without a rooster. I have one silkie pullet that I purchased as a baby chick and unfortunately her left tendon had slipped and it didn’t heal correctly. I would consider her to be special needs and am looking for the right home for her. Her name is Delilah. She is the only one that will be available without a rooster. I have a photo of her as well.

None of these flocks are for free. Everyone is still my regular pricing minus $10 for their missing feathers from breeding and molting. All are consistent producers.

Hey Chickie Fam,

Please note. I am a PROFESSIONAL business woman and chickens are not my main business. I will NOT sell my chickens to rude people. They are like my children. I don’t care if you were drunk, stoned, going through a difficult time and you apologize. If you are ugly to me once, you will be ugly to my chickens and that is not an option.

Last year I had a guy show up to my security gate yelling for me to come out and sell him more roosters after already selling him two roosters. He repeatedly left messages and harassed me. I had to call the police.

This kind of behavior is completely ridiculous for a chicken business. It’s a chicken business!!

I will not be selling my chickens to anyone who I don’t think would provide a decent home. It is not about being judgmental. It is discernment and wisdom. I get to choose who I sell to. Big hatcheries NEVER deal with this. You place your order and follow their rules. Period. If you are nasty, you are blocked and blacklisted.

The heat got to me today. Slept, if you want to call it that, for 4 hours this afternoon/evening and I am still exhausted. Hubby won’t have the house cooler than 79 degrees. Anyone else?

It’s crazy to see it taken down, but so good to be moving onto the next chapter of this chicken journey. I think the garden space here is going to be much better!
