Our business specializes in our Carhop service, homemade rootbeer, and old fashioned hand blended shakes. Although Big A is known for some amazing gourmet burgers, they specialize in making the 1/3 lb deluxe burgers as classic 60’s & 70’s as can be–with toasted sesame seed buns, ripe fresh produce, house-made thousand, and Big A’s blend of seasonings. They even make the majority of their dressings

and sauces fresh daily. For lunch or dinner, in addition to burgers and fries, BIG A serves sandwiches, Millers hot dogs, crazy good salads, burgers, county fair corn dogs and more. BIG A has been offering Durham Ranch 100% Natural Beef for over a year. Natural beef patties can be substituted for on any of the award winning burgers on the menu. Don’t forget about the “Call Ahead” service if you are in a hurry…just call in your order for lunch or dinner and pick up at the phone order register so you don’t have to wait. It’s as easy as that! You can also enjoy your meal in your car. Just pull up, order and it will be brought right to your window.

Hello Grass Valley and Big A family. We have came to the difficult decision to close Big A Root Beer Drive In. We have closed the business due to the our age and health. We are incredibly grateful and thankful for all of our loyal customers and staff. Thank you to the Grass Valley community for showing us constant support. Unfortunately we were not able to bridge to a new potential owner so We are going to be selling the building and property so there for we will be making a later post with various items we will be selling. We have been so blessed to serve you and be apart of this community. It was truly such an amazing experience.❤️
