Well it’s officially been 10 days since we locked up and won’t ever be returning.
I have the original menus and all memorabilia as the new owners saw no value or history in the building. We are sad after 96 years it won’t be a restaurant again. What once started for the local gold rush miners and has fed numerous generations, has come to an end. We are so grateful to have been feeding you for the last 26 years! THANK YOU 🫶🏻

The mural is for sale! It’s a one of a kind piece that was painted just for us, by the late Albert Krebs. It’s 82” x 54 1/4. Very expensive item the new buyers are not interested in keeping. Please help me spread the word and find its next loving home. It has been taken down and rolled up for easy transport. The frame also comes with it. Serious inquires only!
