Bluenose Gopher Public House We are a taproom/pub along the Minnesota River serving craft beer, wine and food to the public.

Bluenose Gopher Public House is a cooperative organization with a craft beer tap room, local wine bar, live music venue and idea factory. Along with local beer, wine, and paninis, we offer, wifi, projector and screen and an audience for ideas that promote the local economy. Our mission is to create a space where community, creativity, and history collide with quality beverages and food. In addit

ion, we donate a percentage of our profits to local charities and offer them a space to promote their organizations on a rotating basis. Our space will feature a prohibition theme location right along the Minnesota River in downtown Granite Falls, home of Andrew Volstead.

Tom Listul is a local singer songwriter and author of children’s books who has been making music around the area for a long time! A Bluenose crowd favorite, you won’t want to miss this live music event.

This event is free and open to the public thanks to donors and supporters of our live music at Bluenose.

We are still talking about how awesome of an event the Bluenose Gopher 50 Gravel Bike Race was last month!

Thank you Kelly Ullrich for the amazing photos this year! We appreciate you capturing the magic every year.

Date for the 2027 race will be announced this fall. We look forward to welcoming even more racers next year.

SUSTAINABLE SUNDAY AT Bluenose Gopher Public House

Truth be told tomorrow's Sustainable Sunday really snuck up on me, as ive been on the road this past week for my day job.

So, no flyer, no bells, no whistles. Tomorrow is inspired from a simple but really invigorating conversation i had this week with two of my co-workers.

They were inquiring about Wild Roots and what my plans are beyond my last day at MN West which is approaching quickly.

Interestingly they are both Agricultural instructors and also farmers. As i got to talking about what i do, what ive learned about nature, about plants, about mushrooms about life, they had even more questions.

In a way the idea that our views or experiences with the above mentioned may have been different only added to the richness of our conversation.

So, tomorrow, swing in for casual conversation, ask me questions about the natural world products I create and about the plants and mushrooms in those products.

Ive got a lot of new to the shelves seasonal products and many in the works that will be there soon. Have a look, ask questions. Share some stories about your experiences and learnings from the natural world.

Let's learn from each other. The natural world, like food, is a powerful connecting force. And something that sustains us all.
