We are doing a taco only benefit this Sunday from 2-7 to help with the funeral expenses of Mark (Critter) Crider! 100% of the taco sales will go the family for the funeral! Mark passed Sunday after a long battle with cancer ! Please come out this Sunday August 23 from 2-7! You may also make a donation directly to Wojstrom Funeral Home!

Would like to share a little positive post, last week I had to call the mayors office to schedule an appointment, while on the phone a gentleman walked in looking for the mayor, his secretary asked me to hold on while she talked to this man but she left her phone on the desk so I could hear as she was alone, this man was hungry and she (secretary gave him some snacks and something to drink etc. when she got back on the phone I told her how awesome that was and she told me there are several homeless that stop in to see the mayor and he gives them food and sometimes even money out of his pocket to get something to eat! That truly touched my heart ❤️ and wanted to share because it always seems everything is negative but this was truly a blessing to hear! Good job Mike and Mechelle!

Prayers are for our community! I have been asked by so many to do a benefit for their families, and as you all know I won’t say no, I love to help, but problem is I’m booked solid all the way through September, some of these folks need help sooner! My hands are tied I can only do them on Thursdays and there are only so many Thursdays in a month lol, we are struggling just to stay open , please pray business picks up, pray for all these families that have been hit with unexpected problems! God bless you all and once again thank you for all your support!

We are also going to donate a percentage of our sales today to Holy Family here in Granite City, so come have breakfast, lunch or dinner while helping both a local small business and a local church and school! We are open today 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM! Full menu available all day, hope to see ya all soon!

Ok my loyal friends and customers and community, Jessica (Madesen) Simpson is a very dear friend and like family to me, she is the mother of my great nephew, she also has 2 more children and has been battling cancer for 3 years , she is very sick and starting radiation today while being hospitalized! They need help with school supplies, school clothes for the kids, food etc! If anyone can drop off a donation of anything to help them I will make sure it gets to her! Raelyn is an adult small and size 8 shoes and Colby is in 5/6 toddler! It can be gently used , you can drop off a gift card for groceries , just whatever you can do! I want to help them and I know we are all struggling to survive but this really is close to my heart! ❤️ We are at diner until 5 today and will be here till 2 tomorrow! Thank you in advance ! Love each and everyone of you! Also any school supplies! I believe she is in Jr High!
