We have been touched by all the comments of fond memories and love of Rainbow Grill, but we have also had a number of inquiries as to what happened.
To further clarify;
We determined after the flooding that occurred and kept us from safely opening for over a week, that the amount of capital required to repair and remodel the building to an acceptable standard of safety and comfort was going to be too cost prohibitive to either extend our lease, after the June deadline, or purchase the building.
We are considering alternative locations or maybe even a redevelopment on the same site.
We are happy we were able to offer everyone positions at other locations, but saddened that one of our favorite community gathering places will not be open to serve our community at this time.
