Mario and PacMan cake yesterday for a friend's 40th birthday celebration! This was so much fun to make! It was also my first ever Rice Krispe cake. It came together really well, was more sturdy as a cake that I thought it might be, and stayed perfectly gooey and crispy! 🎂🍰

INTRODUCING!!!! New Cookie Nachos! I love the idea of the ice cream nachos trend with soft serve and waffle cone pieces. I thought HEY why not cookie pieces with frosting!
As many of you know I have been on a lonnnnnnng break recovering from not one but TWO ACL surgeries and have been out of the bakery business for a bit. I am getting back in the game and will slowly begin taking orders over the course of this summer. Keep an eye out for an updated menu, ordering process and more! I thought this would be a fun way to kick things off with a BRAND NEW product!

Each tray serves 1-3 depending on your sweet tooth and comes in two styles!
1. Nachos only, with one dozen cookie chips and frosting dip. The frosting dip can be plain or with a core filling. Pictured is a chocolate ganache core!

2. Nachos with 2 Cake Street Tacos- with 12 cookie chips and two cake street tacos. The frosting dip can be plain or with a core filling.

I have 6 trays available as soon as tomorrow for pick up with the following flavor options!!!
Vanilla frosting dip, plain, or with either a chocolate ganache or strawberry preserve core.
Cookies chips are Vanilla
Cake tacos are a Cinnamon Toast Crunch infused cinnamon vanilla cake with chocolate ganache and vanilla buttercream.
Comment below to claim one of the available trays, and let me know if you want Nachos only, with or without a core filling, or if you’d like a Nacho and Cake Street Taco tray.

Nachos only will start at $15 per tray depending on the frosting dip options.
Nachos with 2 cake street tacos starts at $18 per tray depending on the frosting dip and taco options.

Additional cake street tacos can be added to a tray at $1.50 each.

Assorted sprinkles will be used for the dip and tacos, specific colors can be used by request depending on availability.

Hey guys! It's been almost a year I've been out of the game from my accident and knee surgery. To get back in the game a bit I am offering something new for Fall! I've made them for the family a few times but never for sale. Looking to see what interest there might be in some gourmet caramel apples! Fresh picked local Michigan apples. Prices start at $6 per apple depending on the flavors, with lots of flavor options that will be offered. They would be for the first 2 weeks of October or more depending on the interest in them. Hey guys! I know that I have been pretty quiet on my page here for a while. Life has had some HUGE ups and downs lately. We had been toying around with the idea for a bit, and decided to take the leap! While we loved all of our new friends we made in our ten years out there, and have come to know SO many of my customers personally, our hearts were truly back in our hometown in Michigan. I had taken some time off for a bit with my mom’s cancer diagnosis, surgery and recovery. Then our move happened, which was a whirlwind to say the least for sure! That is a WHOLE other long story in its own, let’s say everything that could go wrong DID go wrong. We made it back safely, but exhausted! After taking time to settle in and the long wait for the final go ahead, I can make the official announcement! I will be reopening/continuing my baking business back in my hometown in Grand Rapids, MI! So, for all my Michigan friends who have been dying to try things, your dreams have now come true!! I am so very thankful to each and every one of you in the Montana area who have ordered from me, or passed around the word of my business. It grew from doing a cake for a friend of a friend, to a full time business doing what I love! Thank you all from the bottom of my heart to all of you for your support over the years. As of now I am officially in Michigan and not taking any orders in Montana any longer. I will not be taking on any custom orders quite yet, until I have all of my supplies in check. However I am hoping to have a Halloween presale available soon for my new area here in Michigan. Keep your eyes posted for updates as they come for more information about ordering and options! Again, thank you all for the support over the years. I look forward to our new adventure back in our hometown!

How it all began.....

Wayyyyy back in 2003 I decided to change my entire life plans and go to culinary school. My second semester, in order to keep a full schedule I signed up for a cake decorating class. Much to my distaste I might add lol. I didn’t think that I would do well or enjoy it much, HA! Fast forward to 2007, I graduated completing not one, not two, but ALL THREE culinary degree programs my school offered. All the while, working two jobs, one as a waitress and a second as a Head Baker of an Artisan style bread bakery. Then I went off to Bend, Oregon and worked in a high volume bakery kitchen at a large resort there. Then returned home looking for the next step in my life. I worked at and helped develop recipes for a Gluten Free bakery for a short time, which was interesting and a HUGE learning experience, but was NOT my calling. (Gluten free baking is WEIRD :) ) Then I heard through a former Culinary Instructor that there was an amazing cake bakery looking for another baker. The owner had graduated just a few years prior to me from the same school, and her lead decorator had graduated just one year before me. I dropped off an application, and after a few persistent phone calls, ( FYI wedding season is a super busy time to schedule interviews) I landed the job. Over the course of the next four years I honed in my skills, thanks to a lot of practice, trial and error, and some pointers from an amazing artist turned cake decorator who worked there as well. I knew then that cake decorating had been my calling all along! Now almost 15 years after my decision to start culinary school I am still at it! I will attempt almost any cake, and put in my 110% effort every time. I am a perfectionist, to a fault, and will spend HOURS to make the cake exactly perfect. I love doing what I do, but the best part of it for me, is to see the expression on the customers faces. The ones who are just so excited to have the cake they picked, but even better, the ones who literally can NOT believe that YES that is CAKE! It wouldn't have been possible without my AMAZING family, and my helpful and patient husband. He makes for a great delivery driver, and helping with everything from setting up cupcakes to building me custom cake stands to order. I also appreciate that he works for samples and scraps! I also couldn't do this without all of my wonderful customers, new and old! Thank you to you all!
