Okay… I think I found another thing I really love doing. 🥹

I’ve been doing more food business consulting lately, and I have found these sessions SO rewarding.

After 20 years in the food & hospitality industry, I’ve realized just how many different seats I’ve sat in: service, chef, entrepreneur, consumer, marketing, sales, catering, operations and actually building a business from the ground up.

Now I get to use ALL of that experience to help other food entrepreneurs build theirs. 🩵

With my coaching clients, we meet biweekly to:

✨ Get clear on the vision
✨ Set SMART goals
✨ Figure out the process
✨ Create systems
✨ Work through real business decisions
✨ Set goals and actually follow up on them

And most importantly, you get access to 20 years of real industry experience while we figure out what makes sense for YOUR business.

I’m currently accepting a few additional food entrepreneurs for 6 months of complimentary coaching.

After this round, coaching will become a paid service, but I plan to keep it accessible for small food businesses.

Busy season is approaching, and True Catering by Patria’s Kitchen is growing our team! 🥂🍽️

We’re looking for dependable, hardworking people who enjoy hospitality, work well with a team, and aren’t afraid to jump in and get things done.

NOW HIRING:
👩🏽‍🍳 Prep Cooks
🧽 Dishwashers / Kitchen Support
🍽️ Event Servers + Setup Staff
🍸 Bartenders

These are part-time/on-call positions with hours based on our catering and event schedule. Events may include weddings, corporate events, private celebrations, nonprofit events, cocktail receptions, and more throughout the Grand Rapids/West Michigan area.

We’re looking for people who are:
• Reliable and punctual
• Professional and personable
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Able to follow directions and work as part of a team
• Flexible with evenings and weekends
• Hospitality or food-service experience is a plus!

Sometimes I wonder if I should’ve named this business “No Limit Catering,” because there’s really no limit to what we can cook up for y’all 😂

Boxed lunches, loaded nacho bars, family-style spreads, plated dinners… picked up, dropped off, or fully served. From fried chicken to lamb chops, beef bourguignon to jerk chicken, Southern favorites to Spanish flavors… we do a little bit of everything over here!

That’s one of my favorite parts of what I do: creating food and an experience that fits YOU. Whatever the occasion, it’s all made with so much love. 🫶🏽

Thank you to culture • community • care for having True Catering at the Village Row, Free Farmers Market! It was such a beautiful community experience, and it was a pleasure to provide lunch made with love. I’m sorry to anyone who missed it, y’all cleared us OUT & FAST!

I don’t always broadcast the ways I give back, but this opportunity came from someone seeing a post and realizing I could be a resource. I would love to connect with more nonprofits and community organizations whose missions are close to my heart, especially those supporting women, children, young women, Black-owned ventures, and purpose-driven community work.
