Chicken Ssam: delicious Korean inspired Ssam fresh bibb lettuce wraps with a mixture of stir fried ground chicken, chopped mushroom, sliced water chestnuts, and shredded cabbage, with sides of spicy Ssamjang sauce and seasoned toasted panko. Enjoy the dish by itself for only $8 or pair it with a glass of Ludington Bay's Tangelo Dream for $1 extra.

From July 27 through Aug. 2, participating restaurants across the area are serving up creative $7–$10 burger specials for one delicious week of local flavor, culinary creativity, and hometown pride.

To help kick things off, Grand Rapids Magazine Publisher Jason Hosko joined FOX 17 West Michigan News alongside the team from Gypsum Grill and Event Center, one of this year’s participating restaurants. The segment offered a taste of what’s ahead and shared how burger lovers can join the fun all week long.
