Helping yourself to a meal without paying isn't just "getting away with it"—it's taking money directly from a small business that's already working hard to survive.

Every dine-and-dash hurts someone:
The owner trying to keep the lights on. The staff working long hours. The honest customers who do pay.

If you can't afford to eat out, there are other options. Stealing a meal is never the answer.

Support local businesses. Respect the people behind the food. Pay your bill.
