Hey everyone, just a little update to share.

Effective as of July 27th, there will now be 3% processing fee added to all credit card transactions. This charge comes from the credit card companies and although we have tried to avoid passing part of this fee on to our customers, with cash payments being so few and far between these days we have been left with limited options.

We hope everyone understands, and please note that this fee is ONLY on credit card transactions and NOT cash payments. As we all know, cash is king! We do have an ATM conveniently located in our entryway, and many banks these days do reimburse ATM fees as well.

We apologize for any inconvenience, but in hopes of being fully transparent, these fees add up to very large sums for our restaurant that go directly to credit card processing companies and not to us.

We are not passing the full percentage on to our customers, so we will still be paying a percentage ourselves as well.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support of The Cottage Bar. We value our customers and view you all as family, and hope that you can appreciate our transparency in this situation.
