As we celebrate the Fourth of July, we honor the birth of our nation and the freedoms our country was founded upon.

As we reflect on Juneteenth, we remember that freedom reached many Americans later than others, reminding us that liberty has always been a journey as much as an ideal.

Together, these two observances tell a more complete story—one of hope, perseverance, progress, and the ongoing pursuit of “liberty and justice for all.”

May we celebrate not only how far we’ve come, but also continue working toward a future where every person is treated with dignity, respect, and equal opportunity.
