Another full house for the Grand Junction W**e Club!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our second gathering and helped make our Hard Hat W**e Tasting such a memorable experience. And a special thank you to our friends at GJ Union Depot for generously providing such a unique and all around wonderful venue. We are excited for you to soon break ground on restoration of the historic train depot.

Calling Grand Junction w**e lovers! I’m riding high from the smashing success of our first tasting together - thrilled to have secured an incredible, unique venue to host our 2nd tasting! Due to the nature of the location, it will be kept a secret until a couple hours before our tasting kicks off

Think of it as a blind tasting of w**es AND terroir! And just to add a little more spice to this mystery - it will be a hard hat tasting 🤠. Yes, you heard me right. Hard hats will be required 👷. If you have your own, plan on bringing it along. If not, don’t worry, I’ll have one for you.

I’m capping this one to 16 people. If you’d like to join, please RSVP each attendee on the Eventbrite link below, so I have a good headcount and can text everyone the secret location on the day itself!

Saved the best for last. As I looked back my travels, I wanted to make a dedicated post to highlight each of my top 5 places. These were places I really connected with, and that left a lasting impression.

Coming it at #5 with its picturesque countryside villages, is the Loire Valley, where nearly everywhere we went had witnessed centuries more history than the US has existed as a nation.

Full house for our very first blind w**e tasting + pop-up!

We had an incredible lineup of 11 Old World w**es, featuring two Barolos, a Barbaresco, a Super Tuscan, and a Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Strong representation from Piedmont and Spain, plus a memorable “gotcha” from Santorini!

A great night with an even better group of people to share (many) bottles. Thanks to everyone that attended! Special thanks to our location partner
