The Buffalo Launch Club was founded in 1903 and is the oldest power boating club in North America. oday, the Buffalo Launch Club proudly promotes the nautical interests and skills of its members, offering 86 permanent slips, 9 transient slips, 15 personal watercraft ports, and convenient kayak storage. Situated on the scenic Niagara River and supported by nearly 250 Active and Social members, the

Club provides year-round social and recreational opportunities for members and their families. Amenities include a seasonal outdoor pool, tennis and pickleball courts, a playground, park-like grounds, a full-service restaurant, and a calendar full of engaging social events. The Club connects our members with Reciprocal Privileges at many other clubs throughout WNY and the Country. The Buffalo Launch Club can host any kind of special event, including: Weddings, Rehearsal Dinners, Fundraisers, Business Meetings, Graduation Parties, Engagement Parties, Bridal/Baby Showers, School Events, Sports Team Celebrations, Awards Banquets, Recognition Lunches/Dinners, Antique Boat Shows, Boating Seminars, and Boater Safety Classes. The Club can accommodate up to 225 guests in the Main Dining Room, which overlooks the scenic Niagara River. With plenty of private parking, exquisite dining and a magnificent view The Buffalo Launch Club has outstanding facilities to make your special event one to remember.

It's a great day for a car show at the Buffalo Launch Club! Cars, bar, DJ, and food truck here till 4:00 p.m! No admission for spectators.

At approximately 12:30 pm there was a boat fire in the BLC basin. The Grand Island fire department was quick to respond and the fire was contained. Unfortunately the boat was a total loss with some damage to the dock and the neighboring boat. Kudos to our kitchen staff with their first response efforts. Luckily nobody was harmed. Our thoughts are with the boat owners and we'd like to thank everybody who offered assistance.

A heartfelt thank you to our members, fellow Grand Island neighbors, and our rockstar kitchen staff for making the evening one to remember. Your hard work and support helped us raise funds for Excalibur Leisure Cruises- a non-profit organization that provides accessible boating and fishing opportunities for all persons in an effort to keep our community cruising along!
