Three years ago today, my daddy, the man, the myth, the legend, passed away. He is the reason for my passion, the reason for my love, and the reason I give back and take care of others. What I wouldn’t give for you to be here with all of us to see your legacy continued in your honor.

Hug your loved ones and tell them you love them. Check in on your people, as no one is promised tomorrow.

Today, we celebrate your life. I am forever grateful for the time I had with you. I love you, Daddy. Continue to look over us down here.

Today we had thee absolute pleasure and honor in checking out A Slice Above! We walked in and asked for one of everything in the display and we got exactly that. We met Brian, one of the owners and he was very warm and inviting. The ambience of the store alone says “Take a load off and just relax. A sweet treat and some tea never hurt anybody honey.” We were absolutely tickled by the creativity in fusion of flavors that are bold yet familiar. The types of personal sweets that make you blush. Did I add Valentine’s Day is just around the corner…cough, cough. Very reasobanly priced, accommodating and have to say very delicious. The proof is in the bake. If you haven’t had the opportunity to check out their store front, do yourself a favor. Continue to support your local and small businesses. It’s all of you that make it possible! Spreading the word is free. We will absolutely be back!

We've been in hiding and apologies for the silence, been busy getting things in order, because, let's face it, you deserve the best.

We're not sure when we'll be back, no ETA, but it'll be super soon, and we promise you (as most of you know😉) we’re worth it. Patience is a virtue my friends, or so I'm told, haha.
