Meet Ashley 💕 The oldest of the Smutz Girls!

Long before Smutz Girls Bakery was a dream, Ashley was already making memories in the kitchen with her mom and sisters — from playing in bowls of flour as a little girl to spending entire days together during the family’s annual Christmas Baking Day.

Outside the bakery, Ashley is a professional dancer, loves traveling with her husband, soaking up every minute of summer by the water, movie nights, Disney Princesses, and quality time with the people she loves most. Her faith and family are at the center of everything she does. 🤍

And her bakery favorites? White cake, our Twix cookie, and basically anything with frosting. Funny enough, she loves eating frosting but hates making it. 😂

This weekend we’re celebrating the hardworking people who make our community such a special place…

Behind the scenes, there’s been an amazing crew that have been putting in early mornings, late nights, lots of flour-covered hours, recipe testing, decorating, cleaning, planning and countless little details as we get closer to opening our doors. 🍪🧁☕️

We’re incredibly thankful for every person who has poured their time, talent and heart into this dream.

Thankful for sweet moments beyond the bakery..

A few hours together this weekend in the rain, wind, and sand… and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. 🤍

Life gets busy, especially in this season, so I’m extra thankful for the moments when we can all just be together—laughing, playing beach volleyball and making memories.

The weather wasn’t perfect, but the time together was. 🥹

So grateful for this crew and for the memories we’re making along the way. 🤍
