Situated on the corner of Washington and Jackson–within walking distance of the shores of Lake Michigan–the historic Kirby House has functioned as a hotel, residence, restaurant and community hub since 1873. The venue is comprised of three restaurants (Kirby House, The Grill Room, K2 Pizzeria) a nightclub (Dark Room) and a variety of special event rooms. The Kirby House is a lakeshore favorite for happy hour cocktails, family pizza nights, special occasions and late-night excursions. During warm weather months, the main dining room, island bar, and second story deck are perfect spots to enjoy dinner and drinks after a day spent on the beach. Live entertainment at The Kirby House, DJs at the Dark Room and K2's game room all provide great antidotes to a long Michigan winter. Year-round you'll find that tourists and lakeshore natives alike gather at this unique venue to experience the character, food, entertainment and hospitality of The Kirby House.
