To our friends, valued customers, and community,
After more than 40 years in the restaurant business, including 6 years with our dream café here at 181 West State Street, we’ve made the bittersweet decision to officially retire.
This café, housed in the same home where we raised our family, has been a lifetime of hard work and heart. Our goal was simple: home-cooked food made from fresh, local ingredients. Thank you to the farmers and vendors who made that possible. Please keep supporting them; they’re the heart of this community.
And thank you, our loyal customers. Your support and friendship over the years have meant more than words can say. We’ll miss your familiar faces and being part of your daily lives.
To our incredible staff, past and present: your dedication has been the backbone of this café. We’re endlessly grateful.
We’re sad to close this chapter, but excited to spend more time with family and for our next chapter in retirement. To give us time to make this transition, we are closing as of today. The café will soon be in the hands of a new entrepreneur eager to bring fresh energy to this special place.
Thank you for letting us serve you and for making this truly Something Special. We’ll cherish the memories forever.
