🌅 Sunsets, New Signs, and Country Charm 🌅

As the sun was setting off in the distance this evening, we figured there couldn’t be a better time to show off our brand-new custom sign that we’ve spent the last day putting up!

Little by little, we’re working to make The Mason Jar Cafe feel more and more like the old-time country restaurant we’ve always envisioned. From the food we serve to the atmosphere we create, we want every visit to feel like stepping into a place where neighbors gather, stories are shared, and everyone feels right at home.

We’re proud of how this sign turned out, and seeing it silhouetted against tonight’s beautiful North Carolina sunset made all the hard work worth it.

We can’t wait for y’all to see it in person when we reopen! Thank you for all the love, support, and encouragement you’ve shown us. The best is yet to come.

📣 REOPENING UPDATE 📣

The wait is almost over! We are excited to announce that the Mason Jar Cafe plans to reopen on Tuesday, June 9th!

We can’t tell y’all how much we’ve missed seeing our customers and friends. It’s been a crazy few weeks for our family, but we have been truly blessed, and everything has finally come together.

We’re also excited to share that we’ve added several new cooks to the Mason Jar family! Each one brings over 10 years of kitchen experience, and they have fit right in with our little family. We couldn’t be happier to have them on board.

Don’t worry—we’ll still be serving the daily specials you’ve come to know and love. We’ve also decided to expand our special menu to mix things up a little and give y’all even more great homemade options to choose from.

We are ready to get back to doing what we love: serving great food and spending time with the people who make the Mason Jar Cafe so special.

The food is going to be incredible, the service is going to be out of this world, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone back through our doors.

So come hungry, bring your friends and family, and let us feed you a good meal!

📣 Mason Jar Cafe Update 📣

We wanted to give everyone an update and let you know that everything is okay! We know we’ve been closed for a couple of weeks now, and we truly appreciate everyone checking in on us.

The process of hiring additional cooks is going very well, and we’re excited about what’s ahead! We want to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all the phone calls, Facebook comments, messages, and especially all the prayers. It truly means the world to us. The amount of support and love we’ve received from this community has been overwhelming, and we are beyond grateful.

As of now, we are planning to reopen during the first part of June, and when we do, we’ll continue serving the best food around along with the best customer service too! We can’t wait to see all of your smiling faces walking back through our doors again.

We’ve missed each and every one of y’all more than you know!

Thank you again for your continued support, patience, and prayers. We’re looking forward to being back with our Mason Jar family very soon!!

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the Mason Jar Cafe will be temporarily closing its doors due to staffing issues.

From the very beginning, we have always taken pride in serving our community with the best food, warm hospitality, and the kind of service that makes you feel right at home. We never want to give anything less than our absolute best, and at this time, we feel it’s necessary to pause so that when we reopen, we can continue giving you the quality and experience you deserve.

Please know this is only temporary, and we fully intend to reopen as soon as possible. We already look forward to welcoming everyone back through our doors again soon.

We truly appreciate your understanding, patience, and continued support during this time. The love this community has shown our little cafe means more to us than words can express.

Good Thursday morning everybody!! 🌧️☕ Even though it may be rainy outside, it’s warm, cozy, and delicious inside the Mason Jar Cafe!

Since we didn’t get to have it last week — and because it’s one of y’all’s favorites — today’s special is our homemade meatloaf served with 2 sides! Nothing beats a good comfort meal on a rainy day. ❤️
