This morning Matt's Boy Scout Pack went ice fishing at Woodridge Lake. The scout leaders are incredible. They had a tent set up to warm up in, hot dogs, chowder, hot chocolate and more. One picture shows Matt learning how to ice fish. The other picture shows the clubhouse in the background, the boy scout set up and some of the holes with the fishing poles. We walked from the beach to the middle of the lake. The average thickness of the ice was 10 to 12 inches. Brrrrrrr

Today was a bittersweet day. Closed on the final day of the summer season, saying goodbyes............... I am overwhelmed by the kindness that is bestowed upon us by our customers at the lake

The Fajita Wrap was certainly popular yesterday. Steak, Cheddar, Peppers, Onions, Corn, Black Beans, Fajita Seasoning, rolled in a Wrap that was garnished with Lettuce, Tomato and Sour Cream. Oh yum!

Oh my goodness, in the three years we have owned and operated the Snack Shack, we have never had the rush we had last night. We went from sitting and chatting to unbelievable lines. For those of you who had to wait longer than you would have preferred, or those who left, we apologize for the inconvenience. We still have no idea where everybody came from. We have great specials today and tomorrow, so be sure to drop by. xoxoxoxo
