It is with great sadness that we must announce the closing of Rise and Shine Country Cafe. We will close tomorrow, September 10th, at 3pm for our final time. Come out and support us one last time. As a family-owned business, we had hoped to become a lasting staple within the community; however, not all business ventures are meant to be permanent. We will always remember the memories given to us by you, our amazing customers, and the wonderful staff we had the privilege working with. The staff and community became a family unit and the constant contact with each other is going to be tough to move on from.

This has been weighing heavily on Chance’s, Michael’s, and Sherry’s hearts, and after much reflection and praying, God is leading us on a different path. We appreciate all the support and camaraderie the Wilkinson County and Gordon community has shown us. I would like to ask for that continuing support during my upcoming endeavor of running for Sheriff of Wilkinson County in the 2024 election. All of our energy and efforts will transcend into this adventure.
