HI, my name is Donna and I am the very proud owner of Lit’l Red Barn. I had a vision of a little barn on wheels that I could serve down home Southern food made with love. My husband Gabe had the know-how and the brawn to make my vision come to life and so the Lit’l Red Barn was born. While I didn’t grow up on a farm, I did grow up in the small town of Eutawville, SC. I have the belief that simple
is better due in part to the fact that we live our lives on a daily basis in a very demanding and high paced society. My hope is that when you walk up to the barn that it will bring you back down to earth and remember your roots and where you came from. Take a minute to breathe and take in the smells of burgers grilling. Even if you are not a Southerner, maybe you too can enjoy the little bit of Southern charm, grace and hospitality that we have to offer. I don’t have a culinary degree but I do come from a family line of women that cooked. My Nanny (grandmother) owned a café that sold the best burgers in town. On the other side of that town my Aunt had a little café where the buffet line was always full of fried chicken, macaroni and cheese, rice, butter beans and sweet tea. My mama worked in these cafes when she was younger and then in the school cafeteria. I guess a part of me chose to cook burgers out of honor to my grandmother. I feel that is why I take such great pride in every burger I make. If you are looking for a little variety outside of the leftovers from home or the on-site cafeteria, we are the perfect fit for you. We provide you with the convenience of walking out to your parking lot to grab some hot, fresh comfort food made with love at good prices. We are also equipped with The Square to take your debit cards, although we do prefer cash, mainly because it is quicker. Have a birthday, retirement, graduation, rehearsal dinner, going away party coming up and don’t want all those people tracking mud in your house? Call us and we will be happy to set up in your back yard, however you will have to provide the outhouse. The menu posted is just a small sample of some of the things we serve. I am more than happy to work with you on customizing a menu designed specifically for you and your event.
