We are very sad to hear this. We genuinely enjoyed every interaction we had with Dub. We spent a lot of time talking dough and small business. Rest in peace friend, this town and this world are worse off without you.

It is with sadden hearts that Dub Newton aka coffee man, part owner and spouse of Chef Debi passed away peacefully Wednesday morning surrounded by his family! Dub’s coffee legacy will live on through Cafe Ledoux and this community that supported him everyday! He was the ambassador for Cafe Ledoux and we will miss very much his warm and friendly smile as he tried to greet each and every customer that walked through the door. His shared stories, the love he had for coffee and how proud he was of Chef Debi and what she created in her pastries! We will cherish the memory of him with his towel on his shoulder, tasting espresso shots and roasting coffee! He will be dearly missed by the Ledoux family! ❤️🙏
