Happy National Pasta Day! Though around here, every day is a good day for pasta.

At Bella Colibri, our pasta is made in-house, from the noodles themselves to the ravioli and ricotta gnocchi that make their way onto the menu. Right now, that means Bucatini all’Amatriciana with spicy sausage, pancetta and guanciale; Beef Bolognese with pappardelle and San Marzano tomato; Vongole con Spaghetti with Manila clams, garlic and white w**e; and Artichoke & Spinach Ravioli with lemon, butter and white w**e.

The menu changes with the seasons, but the pasta stays close to the center of the kitchen: made by hand, cooked to order and paired with sauces and ingredients that let the pasta do what it does best.

Just a few seats remain for An Evening in Argentina, with an Italian Soul.

On October 13, Bella Colibri welcomes **e for an evening of Argentine w**e and four courses, bringing the w**es of Mendoza to an Italian table.

The evening begins in the Parlor with antipasti and sparkling w**e before moving into four courses paired with VINUV w**es. On the menu: Hamachi crudo, ricotta gnocchi, roasted lamb loin roulade and espresso semifreddo, with each course composed to accompany the progression from high-altitude whites into elegant, expressive reds.

Zane and Mindy Holscher, founders of VINUV, will join us to share the story behind their w**es and their vineyard in Los Chacayes, in Mendoza’s Uco Valley, where the Andes shape the landscape and the high elevation defines the growing conditions.

A seat among Denver’s best Italian tables.

Bella Colibri has been included in ’s new guide to the 25 best Italian restaurants in the Denver area. Since opening in Golden in 2019, has drawn from Southern Italian cooking and founder Dean Valdez’s Calabrian family roots, with the seasons shaping a menu of house-made pastas, Italian classics, and dishes that change throughout the year.

Set inside a brick building just off 12th Street in downtown Golden, the dining room pairs white tablecloths and polished service with exposed brick, warm wood, and generous windows overlooking Golden. It’s Italian cooking with a distinctly Colorado address.
