Thanks for a great weekend!
It's employee of the month time and this month we look in the kitchen.
So much goes into running a restaurant and this man has been in the business for over 40 years. He's worked in many of the bigger kitchens running and managing food lines and staff.
Pete and I met while working in another establishment nearly 20 years ago and we each had a lot of respect for the other. Our paths crossed again 5 years ago and he joined the Hut team. After all the years of stress on the line, we are happy to offer him the "retirement" kitchen position with less stress and NO people. IYKYK.
Pete Scocco is a big deal at the Hut behind the scenes handling most of the food preparation for the week. Master of the sauces, he makes killer soups and dressings, grills up the meats and keeps me in line and in the know with inventory needs and maintenance matters.
We are super thankful for you Peter and we were a lot younger in this picture! Cheers to all your years feeding Fulton and Saratoga County.
