In a society and culture which preaches that each individual should pursue their "authentic self" and all the desires that may include ...

The message of Scripture which preaches that each individual must die to self and deny the flesh; that we only ever truly live when we lose our life...
(Matthew 10&16; Romans 5&6)

Will not be readily or widely received...almost as if, only those who have been supernaturally and graciously readied beforehand will receive this biblical testimony that is so antithetical to the world.

Maybe there really is deep eternal truth in Jesus telling Nicodemus, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.”

Eyes to see.
Ears to hear.
Hearts of flesh, not stone.
Minds that comprehend.
The new birth.
May God receive all glory, honor, and praise for His marvelous gift of salvation.

As we preach and proclaim the Gospel, we take great confidence in knowing that men shall surely be saved.

It is not left to chance.

The Father has chosen a people for His possession.
(Ephesians 1; 1 Peter 1&2)

The Son has purchased their redemption.
(Isaiah 53; Hebrews 9&10; Ephesians 2)

The Spirit quickens their lifeless souls through the washing of regeneration; He is the seal and guarantee of our inheritance.
(Titus 3; John 3; 2 Corinthians 1)

God is mighty to save wherever the Gospel goes forth; souls will be saved.

Let us share with boldness, with joy, and with zeal!

Always a humbling reminder when it comes to parenting ....

As Christians, we come under the conviction that every detail of life, including every success, every failure, every heartache, everything that crushed us, and everything that strengthened us...every last little thing is indeed part of God's sovereign plan to draw us to Himself, save us, and sanctify us as He shapes us into the image of His Son.
(Psalm 139; Romans 8; Ephesians 1)

Give thought to the overwhelming mercy and grace of God today; rest in knowing that He is surely working all things together for good for those that love Him and are called according to His purpose.

If you struggle with feeling alone, isolated and disconnected from everyone and everything....
There has never been a friend so near as Jesus.

If you struggle with feeling defeated, beaten down by life and all that has transpired....
There has never been a refuge so secure as Jesus.

If you struggle with feeling unwanted or neglected by everyone you desire nearness to...
There has never been a shepherd desiring nearness to His sheep like Jesus.

If you struggle with feeling overwhelmed by all the narratives, headlines, and pressures of this world pulling you in so many different directions....
There has never been a rock/anchor so unmoving, unchanging as Jesus.

If, by God's amazing grace, you struggle with feeling the weight of your own sin, understanding that your greatest need is not relationships, success, worldly goods, or human love, rather, your greatest need is to be saved from God's wrath against your own sin...
There has never been a Savior other than Jesus.
The Eternal One who saves is also a friend, refuge, shepherd, rock, anchor of the soul, yes, even the very life of all who believe.

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.
Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God."
John 3:16-18
