Are you sick of salmon yet?? Let’s be honest. Aside from living, breathing and thinking like a sockeye for multiple months of the year, I eat ALOT of salmon.
Even though a simple oven-baked fillet is seriously delicious every time, truth be told, I get tired of eating salmon. But!
Did you know that Wild Alaskan Sockeye from Bristol Bay is safe to consume raw? This fact opened up an entirely new way for me to enjoy this superfood.
Think poke bowls, gravlax, cold smoked, cold cured, on your favorite sushi roll or as pure sashimi. I love the taste and texture of salmon in its raw, wild form. 🍣

🎣 Big fish story alert… and it’s TRUE! Salty Debby here – after years of Halibut dreams, the stars aligned and I won a fishing charter for two with in a raffle (thanks to a single gifted ticket ). First time on a charter, and I reeled in the biggest halibut of the day – 81 lbs!! 🐟💪

To celebrate, I’m thrilled to share Wild-Caught Alaskan Halibut with you this Fall, thanks to the amazing folks based in Sitka, AK.
My freezer is full and I’m so grateful for the delicious gifts the sea gives. 😋
