Many of our guests have asked which Italian restaurant we would recommend now that we have closed...This is a not so easy question for us to answer!

As you know from dining with us delivering hospitality and precision service paired with mouth-watering Italian dishes prepared with love and the best available ingredients, was and is our passion! Any restaurant that doesn't meet these requirements is a deal breaker!

We do however have one Italian restaurant we would recommend, that we know and trust will deliver our same passion to their guest experience.

★SPOILER ALERT★ You might even see some your favorite Bottega staff that made you feel like family each and every time you dined with us! 😊

This restaurant is Virtu Honest Craft, located at 3701 N Marshall Way, Scottsdale 85251. Yes...we know it's not in Glendale or the West Valley, but it's definitely worth the not so far drive!

Many of our guests have had the pleasure to meet Giovanni our Italian amazing server. He moved back to Roma (he's favorite native city) right before we closed.

Wow....our hearts are full! ❤️ From the very moment we posted that we were closing our doors, we were instantly shown how many people truly loved Bottega! The overwhelming amount of guests that showed up to show us their love was humbling. From our team to all of you, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts! ❤️IMPORTANT NEWS❤️

Owning and operating Bottega Pizzeria Ristorante as very hands on, present owners, has been one of the greatest joys of our lives.

During the almost 10 years, since the very first day we opened in 2016, we have met some incredible people that have turned into enduring relationships.

We are humbled to know that Bottega has been a "go-to" restaurant on Tuesday for half off wines by the bottle, Friday and Saturday nights for happy hour and live music or just any other day for delicious Italian food paired with exceptional hospitality and precision service! It warms our hearts that our restaurant has evolved into a true "neighborhood spot.' That was our goal from the day we opened our doors.

As some of you who have visited us regularly know, earlier this year our 16-year-old son was offered an opportunity and scholarship to finish high school in Italy, while pursuing his dream to one day play soccer at a professional level. He's currently playing for Rome City at a primavera level. Dropping him off in Rome at the beginning of September weighed heavily on our parent hearts, yet at the same time we couldn't be more proud and are super excited at this amazing opportunity for him.

After extensive and careful consideration we decided to step away from restaurant ownership and allow our space to be leased to a new ownership and concept, so that we may be able to be in Italy to support our son, attending his games and not be 6,500 miles away. Family is everything to us and this is what we need to do for his two year commitment.

We will be closing effective this Sunday, October 19th at 9pm.

This means you have 4 days to come in and enjoy your favorite dish for the last time, see your favorite server, or just stop by to give us a hug. We promise that just like the first day we opened, we remain committed to providing you with mouthwatering authentic Italian cuisine paired with exceptional Italian hospitality and precision service. What we can't guarantee is that...we won't shed a tear or two as we say our goodbyes!

Thank you for 10 amazing years, it's been an honor serving the community we love. We could have not done it without all of your support.

It's not goodbye, it's see you later!
