James Robert Beebe, 61, of Glen Rose, passed away on December 9, 2025. Born March 28, 1964, at Tachikawa Air Force Base in Japan. James lived in various locations being in the Military and as an Air Force child, including Japan, Azores, Portugal and Grand Forks, ND.
He served in the US Army's 503rd Military Police Battalion and received recognition for outstanding performance of duty and earned accolades including his Airborne and Tactical Communications diplomas.
James worked for Coca Cola for over 23 years and owned Sundown Bar & Grill in Glen Rose from 2017-2024. A childhood dream of James was to own his own restaurant. He had a heart that was always open to others, offering kindness, guidance, and a helping hand to anyone in need. His generosity touched countless lives and will continue to inspire all who knew him.
He was preceded by his parents, Robert F Beebe and Charlene K Stebbins, and his grandparents. He is survived by his partner Kimberly McDonald of Glen Rose, sister Rosemary K Whitman of East Thetford VT, two children, Wendy and James Beebe, and extended family. A memorial will be held at Dallas Veterans National Cemetery (date TBA).
