Owner Dave Hawley is a craft beer geek who couldn't find a local store dedicated to craft beer, so he decided to start his own. The Beer Cellar is the first store and tap room dedicated to selling fresh, local craft beer in the western suburbs. In November 2016, we relocated to a new storefront in downtown Glen Ellyn, and we now have eight rotating taps, so you can drink a beer or two while you br

owse. We carry a wide variety of styles from breweries in places as close as Lombard and as far away as Belgium. Whether you want a fresh IPA or the darkest stout, The Beer Cellar will help you pick out the right beer for your tastes, and if you don't know what you're in the mood for, Dave and The Beer Cellar staff will help you find something you'll love.

We have a special pop-up this Thursday from 3pm- sellout with ! Fransisco’ and the girls will be here honoring Ana with “Ana’s Tacos.” Ana was an amazing mother and wife and business owner. Edgar is also making a special cocktail called “Ana’s Bananas Old Fashioned” that will be available on Thursday as well! If you’ve ever had tacos from the Herrera Family please come out and share a meal and a toast in Ana’s legacy!
