Owner Dave Hawley is a craft beer geek who couldn't find a local store dedicated to craft beer, so he decided to start his own. The Beer Cellar is the first store and tap room dedicated to selling fresh, local craft beer in the western suburbs. In November 2016, we relocated to a new storefront in downtown Glen Ellyn, and we now have eight rotating taps, so you can drink a beer or two while you browse. We carry a wide variety of styles from breweries in places as close as Lombard and as far away as Belgium. Whether you want a fresh IPA or the darkest stout, The Beer Cellar will help you pick out the right beer for your tastes, and if you don't know what you're in the mood for, Dave and The Beer Cellar staff will help you find something you'll love.
