🧠 TRIVIA NIGHT – THIS WEDNESDAY 🧠

The Bay de Noc Lions Club was hard at work at the brewery today, ironing out the details for our very first trivia night. Since this is our maiden voyage, there might be a few hiccups—so thanks in advance for rolling with us while we get everything dialed in.

We’re expecting a great turnout, so we’re setting up extra tables. Want to make sure your team has a spot?
👉 Come in early, grab a table, and start game-planning your strategy.

One community. One family.

If you’re from Gladstone or the surrounding area, there’s a good chance you heard people talk about the Dew Drop Inn or 4 J’s Family Restaurant. These two restaurants served our community for several decades, creating a lasting impression on many people. I often reminisce about both of these places. Unfortunately, neither of these restaurants are operational.

I grew up working in a restaurant. I guess you can say it’s in my blood. My first real job at the age of 15 was a waitress at 4 J’s. A few years later, my mother and step-father purchased 4 J’s and I regularly assisted with serving, cooking and managing, all the while I was working a full-time job and also raising my family. My folks sold the 4 J’s in 2017, and sadly it burned down a year later leaving no family restaurant in our community....Until now!

After much consideration, I have decided to take a leap of faith and purchase the old Dew Drop Inn (Happy Rock Cafe). Our community once again will have a nice gathering place for families and friends to socialize and enjoy a nice meal together. It is my hope that I can create a lasting impression on each one of you, like the Dew Drop Inn and 4 J’s has done for me. I look forward to serving you!
