As some of you may know the story behind sweet’s of Angel’s many of you may not so let me tell you a little bit about how Sweet’s of Angel’s was started. On February 1,2011 my 3rd daughter Audreanah was born. She was perfect with no health issues, I had preeclampsia as I did with my previous two pregnancies but as time went on we were at the doctor almost every day as well as many hospital stays due to Audrey being lathargic, infection after infection. When she was a few months old she needed a feeding tube so she could stop losing weight and the doctors didn’t know what was wrong. At 9 months Audrey was diagnosed with an Immune Deficiency after months of testing and procedures. She had her first blood infusions at 9 months old and continued every 3-4 weeks until she was a little over 5 years old. In that time she aspirated with the feeding tube in place and had a damaged lung as well as epilepsy. For the past 7 years she has been good. Well as a normal child could be I guess. She had her normal colds and flu as well as Covid. A week ago we found out that Audrey has to start these monthly blood infusions again as well as a second pneumococcus vaccine because her body isn’t protected against all 23 bacteria’s, she is only protected from 15. My heart was broken again for my poor child that has endured so much is just 12 years in this earth. I began to break down because why do we have to relive this but I then stopped and prayed. Being a new believer and recently being baptized a Christian , I felt peace and comfort because God is in control. He is a healer and he healed my girl once and I know in my heart and soul that he will do it again. I put this all in Gods hands. I know he will make a way and although these appointments and treatments as well as procedures may be difficult and completely exhausting God will be our strength. I will also be having monthly sales just to help out with expenses that come along with having a child with a chronic illness.
