UPDATE!!
Someone paid his tab. We argued with them, told them no, asked if the hot link bandit was his brother 😂 etc... This man was just a Doc's family member with a big heart! ❤️ Y'all, this was never about the money. We are still hopeful this was an accident and we see this man again! If we do, we hope the laughs carry on!
If you are not part of Doc's history and who we call Doc's family, you probably didn't understand this post and that's okay. No offense taken. If you are part of Doc's family, you understand the entire situation without explanation and most likely got a good laugh. ❤️ Until next time, this case is officially closed. ✌️We wish the first person ever on Doc's Most Wanted the very best! Here's the real story the news won't tell you... Yes, Gracie is back home. The true story is brought to you from Doc's Hot Links in Gilmer Texas.

Gracie didn't really escape to play hide-n-seek, she was on a mission to find Doc's Famous Hot Links!

Once she got a taste of our famous links, catching her was the easy part. She happily ate her weight in hot links and wasn't about to leave without a few more.

So we made her a deal...
"If you'll head back home where you belong, we'll send you with a strand of Doc's Famous Hot Links for the trip."

It was a long walk back home, but Gracie kept her promise. She had a very talkative companion and the aroma of Doc's leading the way.

With a mouth full of hot links and, an extremely talkative companion she happily started the journey home.

Safe and sound... thanks to Doc's Famous Hot Links! 🦒❤️

I received a call earlier that I did not want. Andree D. Moore-Thompson and I met at Doc's 10ish years ago. We always had the best conversations! His love for his students and family was evident. When he moved to Arkansas, I missed our frequent in person talks but was happy for him. When he was in town a short time ago, it was for a funeral and I only had a few minutes of conversation with him. To say he will be missed is an understatement. To know him was to love him. Unexpected loss is tough to wrap your head around. When I look at the spot we met, the spot he ate everytime he was there by himself, I will always be reminded of our conversations. If like me, and you can't attend his service tomorrow, sit in his spot and let's have a conversation in his memory.
