Next week's take-and-bake specials:
1) Apple Butter Pork Chops $32 (Seasoned and seared thick cut pork chops covered in my homemade apple butter, surrounded by baby carrots and ready to bake in your oven.)
2) Amish Poor Man's Steak $38 (Ground beef mixed with milk, bread crumbs, salt, pepper and finely chopped onion made into patties, dredged in flour and browned. Then, they are transferred into a pan and topped with cream of mushroom soup mixed with broth.)
Creamy Chicken Taco Soup (Chicken, chicken broth, chopped onion, Ro-tel tomatoes, black beans, corn, chili powder, garlic powder, cumin, paprika, cream cheese and shredded cheese on the side for you to add.) 16oz/$10 32oz/$20
Meals are 4 servings and should be ready Monday late afternoon for pick up.

Halloween orders close Thursday.
While I'm gone, I'll put together Thanksgiving options. I will only be accepting limited orders. I already have several that have reached out. I have FOT cookies for Family Day and family coming to town. So, you'll want to order before you can't.

Am I really who I am if I'm not sending a month's worth of food home with my boy??? I told him he should be set until Thanksgiving. Some meals do require cooking. Some just need to be heated.
He may have graduated college and have a grown-up job, but....
I do some of this for Olivia, but she likes to cook and has more time. She just likes to follow my recipes and what I make for dinner once in a while. I sent her with a potpie last weekend. And, I always ask her if she wants something. She's not a big casserole fan, so that has limitations.

A favorite, classic breakfast for the boys this morning. Homemade, made-from-scratch biscuits. Homemade and made-from-scratch gravy. WITH homemade breakfast sausage Mike made a while ago. It was our last pack😢. I told him it's time to make more.

Bread was a success today!! I filled each braid rope with mozzarella cheese!! The boys are super excited! Their first question was, "Is that for a customer? Or us?" It's all for us!!
