It is our pleasure to congratulate Charles Owen and Brock Carpenter on their shared title of Angler of the Year 2025, and Brock Carpenter on his triumph at the Gilbertown Bass Club Championship, which took place at Holley's Ferry on the Alabama River on October 25, 2025, where he achieved a five-fish limit of 13.63 lbs and a big fish weighing 4.31 lbs. Congratulations to Brock Carpenter on his win in the Gilbertown Bass Club Tournament #2 out of SW Taylor Landing at Gainesville on Saturday March 22, 2025. Brock weighed in a five fish limit tipping the scales at 13.63 lbs with a 5.53 big fish.

Gilbertown Bass Club is open for new member and old member registration for the 2025 year. Dues are $150 a year, with the following breakdown…….
•$30.00 goes to Alabama Bass Nation for affiliation fee, which gives GBC liability insurance
*note- you must have a BASS membership.
•$10.00 goes to Club Championship pot. You must fish a minimum of 5 club tournaments to be eligible for club championship tournament.
•a guest May fish with you for a $25.00 fee. All guest fees will be place in the club championship pot.
•$110.00 will be used to payout the 8 club tournaments.
Club dues are due ASAP so we can get our roster and dues into ABN. Club dues must be paid in full by first tournament-Feb. 22.

Gilbertown Bass Club will have our first meeting for the new year this Thursday Dec 5th at Bi**os in Silas. We will be accepting new members from now until the first Thursday in February. Dues are currently $150 per year and you must be a member of BASS. Your membership allows you to fish eight club tournaments a year with no fee. We also sponsor four Open Tournaments (landings TBD) per year with $120 fee. We also have a club trip each spring.
