It is a difficult process to figure out the partners we are going to work with. For The Real Dill, it was easy. We work with The Real Dill because they care about the same things we do.

Regular French toast doesn't get espresso cream underneath it, or a stuffing of house-made whipped mascarpone, or a top layer of coffee mascarpone, coffee syrup, cocoa powder, and espresso sugar. Ours does, because at some point in the test kitchen, "good enough" stopped being an option.

There's a very specific kind of confidence it takes to wear a flannel and shorts to breakfast in the same outfit, and we respect it completely. Fall-ish menu, fall-ish weather, fall-ish wardrobe choices. Nobody's fully committing to the season around here, and honestly, that tracks. Who else is only halfway dressed for fall?
