Here she is!! Menu Drop Monday and we're back from vacation week with a fun drop, especially this Stuffed French Toast for the month!

🍳🥗The Community Plate is bringing you some new weekly specials, as well as a new Pineapple Margarita French Toast, ready to make her summer debut! We're also using our chronic TikTok obsession to bring you the VIRAL DOT CAKE, but we're putting the Brunch on Broad spin on it, and we're turning into the Bagel of the Week!

🧁🍰VCSweets is also back, FINALLY, and we can't wait for those M&M Cookie Sammys, as well as the Cookies and Cream Cheesecake Cups! (I'm not sure you guys have figured out how much I loOoOoOove cheesecake!)

☕️🍋Thoroughbred Brew is back in the lot with their *adorable* coffee trailer and yummy coffee drinks! OR, beat the heat this week with a refreshing flavored lemonade!

A fun little vacation week of not having to think about the cafe or catering, and all I've been thinking about is the cafe and catering!! I'm feeling so restless, my brain won't stop asking:

"What's next?"
"What should you be going?"
"What could you be creating?"
"Why aren't you using your time better?"

One minute I'm at the pool, and the next, I'm thinking about a new catering service, a better way to run the cafe, a workshop I could teach, a networking group that should exist, or some random business idea that needs to come next. I'm not dissatisfied, per se, because what we've built with Brunch on Broad and The Community Plate Catering is *almost* everything I've dreamed of! It's more like I'm just wired to create, improve, keep building, keep doing, and not just continue to build the businesses I have, but build the possibilities of what could be, too.

Anyway... I guess I'll go sit in the sun, work on my tan, and maybe work on some other things, too. Is there anything you think we should be doing over here at The Community Plate? Let me know, I'll add it to the list! 😘

We prefer when absence makes the heart grow fonder, so we’re taking a little breather this week! ☀️🏖️ Brunch on Broad is closed on Wednesday, July 8th, so we can spruce up the venue, chill out a bit, take a few pool days, and prepare for the rest of the summer.

When we return on Wednesday, July 15th, we’ll be welcoming back Thoroughbred Brew to the lot for some yummy coffees, lattes, lemonades, and more. 🐎☕️ There will also be a fun activity for some of the kids, which we’ll tell you more about in the upcoming days. Lastly, we hope you enjoyed Jim with GiGi’s Water Ice and their delicious, melt-in-your-mouth water ice, and we’ll be having him back in August! 🍧🍒

🏖️ Sun, Fun, and Turning 1! ☀️ Another fun summertime birthday for one of my favorite repeat families! A backyard cookout menu, we had sliders, pulled pork, corn on the cob, potato salad, and more — all with a Community Plate twist to make it the perfect menu for a first birthday. 🎈 Thank you for having us — again! — and see you all again soon, hopefully! 🤗 Shoutout to brandy for the amazing cake!

🍑Then, The Community Plate is bringing some love for the Jersey peaches, too! This week's cream cheese swirl is Bourbon Peach Cream Cheese on a Cinnamon Bagel, and the sweet-savory combo is what peach dreams are made of.

☕️Additionally, we'll be welcoming Mike and his crew with Grounded Coffee back to the lot this week! Grounded was with us the first week of June, and I'm still thinking about the Maple Latte, and can't wait to try what they're bringing to the trailer this time!
