Ok, so I finally have an update and it's not great. π₯Ί
As many of you know we ran into some major coffee supply issues when our roaster was bought out and restructured.
After many attempts we did find another roaster, but told it could take upwards of a month or more to get beans. This is due to all the lovely post-Covid issues with importing just about everything. Being a new customer really put us at the bottom of the priority list, unfortunately.
The decision was made to move out of our current location after this mess. We could not keep the building at such a high overhead while not knowing when we'd be able to reopen.. I cannot sell coffee, without having coffee. There are many other details about that arrangement that I won't go into, but long story short - moving was the only option.
This brings us to now. We finally do have coffee and are restocked on everything, but have nowhere to go. Unfortunately going back to a non drive-thru location is not something we're not considering especially after seeing what was happening this time last year. We're on the hunt for something and do not want to leave Gering if at all possible. Easier said than done.
Anyway, everything has been very touch and go. Please just know that we're working on it and hope to be back soon. β€οΈ
