We’ve been issuing A LOT of parking tickets on Guanella Pass Road and areas along the road (ie Naylor Lake parking area) over the past several weekends, including today. This is why 👇. Visitors are parking on both sides of the roadway, in and/or on the roadway, and/or facing the wrong direction. This violates the county’s parking ordinance.

Right now (7/18 at 12:20pm), portions of Guanella Pass Rd are only one lane wide, which delays emergency vehicles from responding as quickly as they need to when we have an emergency up there.

Have a backup plan - if designated parking is full and parking legally is not possible, then you need to go to your Plan B. Which may mean waiting out the crowd in Georgetown or another Clear Creek community, or recreating elsewhere in the county.

Good Morning Everyone, if you haven't heard, Georgetown: Anomaly is hosting its first art workshop this weekend to coincide with the Celtic Fest being held by the Georgetown Loop Railroad.

May 16th, 5-8 PM, right after S'Mores at the Park.
