Today was such a special day at La Vaquerita. 🥺📚💗

We officially cut the ribbon for Vaqueritos y Libritos — our Little Free Bilingual Library! A space where our little vaqueritos & vaqueritas can discover books, read, learn, and enjoy stories in both English & Spanish. 📖✨

And I’m a little extra proud to say that La Vaquerita is officially a partner with the GISD Multilingual Department! 🥺🤝

They made the most beautiful bookmarks for our library, and we were so honored to have members of the Bilingual Education team stop by and support us with even more bookmarks for our readers. 💕

This little library may be small, but what it represents is BIG: culture, language, education, & community

Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate this sweet new chapter with us. 💗

A little dream that means so much to us. 💕 We’re opening a FREE bilingual little library right here at La Vaquerita Creamery!

Our hope is to give our little vaqueritos & vaqueritas a place where they can discover stories in English & Español and grow their love for reading. 📖✨

Every child is welcome to take a book for FREE. When they’re finished, we simply encourage them to bring it back and choose another so another little reader can enjoy it too. ❤️
