The enemy loves to introduce you by your failures.

The divorce.
The addiction.
The affair.
The abortion.
The anger.
The season you’re not proud of.

He wants you believing your worst moment gets the final say.

But God?

God saw every mistake before you made it and still chose you.

Still pursued you.
Still loved you.
Still called you by name.

Not by your shame.
Not by your regret.
Not by the chapter you wish you could erase.

By your name.

Forgiven.
Redeemed.
Restored.

That’s why the enemy keeps dragging up your past.

Because if he can keep you focused on who you were, you’ll forget who God says you are.

Conviction says,
“Come closer. Let Me change you.”

Shame says,
“Hide. You’ll never be different.”

One leads to freedom.
The other keeps you in chains.

So if you’ve asked God for forgiveness, stop carrying what He already nailed to the cross.

You are not your biggest mistake.

You are a child of God with a past, not a prisoner of it.

And grace still has the final word. 🤍

Having anxiety while loving God is a kind of battle people don’t talk about enough.

Because somewhere along the way, people started acting like faith means you never panic.
Never overthink.
Never feel your chest tighten at any given time

Never ending thoughts you can’t shut off.

But loving God doesn’t suddenly erase the fact that you’ve been through hard things.

Sometimes anxiety is a nervous system that stayed in survival mode too long.
A heart that learned to expect worst-case scenarios.
A mind that got tired from carrying too much for too long.

And God knows that.

He sees the shaking hands.
The spiraling thoughts.
The prayers whispered through tears.
The “God, please help me breathe” moments nobody else hears.

And He doesn’t pull away from you in those moments.
He comes closer.

So if you love God and still struggle with anxiety… hear me:

You are not weak.
You are not failing.
You are not “bad at faith.”

You are human.
And choosing to trust God while your mind is fighting you?

That is some of the strongest faith there is. 🤍
Stay strong...trust in Jesus...through it all
