New coffee 🤭

If you haven’t already noticed, we’ve got two new coffees on our shelves!
The first is our Peru beans. The Peru is making a comeback as we are working with producer Fidel Huancas again after two years.
It is a Caturra variety that uses a washed process. Tasting notes include brown sugar, fig, and lemon zest!

The second is our Koyu beans! This one is new to our shelves but familiar to you if you’ve ever had our Lamba Latte in store. We have been using this coffee as our dark roast to complement our sweet lattes including our famous Lamba Latte, but this is the first time it will be available to purchase! For those that have already bought our Lamba syrup, our Koyu will be a great addition to your at-home coffee set up! Koyu’s tasting notes include chocolate, nutty, and caramel.

Love Coffee. Love Teachers🍎
We’re treating Teachers and School Administrators to either free drip or any espresso-based drink for just $2! It kicks off next week on Monday the 17th through August 31st. We recognize the hard work put in by these individuals daily and want to appreciate all they do! Just show us your school ID, and we will hook you up. So while you’re on your way to work, making a lesson plan, or prepping for this upcoming school year, stop by for some discounted coffee!
 
Offer is valid for any teachers, administrators, coaches, or staff with a school ID. Limited to one drink per day per person.

We enjoyed being part of the local Global Leadership Summit hosted at Life.Church with our mobile coffee setup.

Lamppost Mobile events allow us to go into the community to bring our coffee offerings all over  the Austin area (and beyond). It was a joy to watch people connect over coffee! This is just one example of events we can cater. Others include: weddings, birthday parties, church gatherings, and office events. From Friday to Sunday, our shop in Downtown Round Rock will be offering a free lemonade with each purchase over $3. We want to shout out Lucas Salas for taking second place at the U.S. Origami Cup 🏆
Lucas is part of our production team at our roasting facility, and this past weekend, he competed in the U.S. Origami Cup where competitors are given an unknown coffee to serve to judges, and best quality and taste is awarded. He showed in-depth knowledge on how to approach a coffee blindly and create something incredible out of it.
At Lamppost, we put an emphasis on not only the quality of our coffee but also on our deep love and knowledge of the science behind it. We are so excited to see when any of our employees take it upon themselves to grow their coffee knowledge, and Lucas is no exception. We are so incredibly proud of his accomplishment, as well as who he is and the work he does at our roaster daily!
