There’s a reason we’ve been the original empanada spot since 2013.
This is a third-generation family recipe, going all the way back to our Gage Park days, when Grandma would make 500+ empanadas at a time for weddings around Chicago in the ’90s.
Same recipe. Same tradition. Still made by hand.
