As you all know a heat advisory is out for today. Heat index is supposed to be 105+. As many of you know The Hay Shed building is a little older and trying to have the AC or the heat keep up with extreme temps is tough. So to help keep the building cool while drinking your cold beverages the menu is very limited today. NO FRIED FOOD TODAY.

The tech from Kaiser Heating and Cooling did an amazing job getting the AC working. Then he went above and beyond his job and fixed a gas leak he had found. Now that the AC is up and running again, the kitchen is open!

Had a great time this weekend in Minnesota at my son's wedding. Thank you to everyone who helped at The Hay Shed while I was gone. I came back to a cold bar and cold beverages. Came in last night, and I still had cold beer! Not so cold in the bar. The AC is being worked on as we speak. At this time the kitchen is closed until the AC is working again. I'll keep you posted!

I am sorry to have to CANCEL this month's Sunday brunch. I have some family things that have taken precedence. Next month, July, I also won't be holding a Sunday brunch because of the holiday weekend. I would reschedule it, but Hay Gayville Hay Days is the 2nd weekend and my son gets married the following. So I will hopefully see you in August for the Sunday Brunch Buffet!
