Friday, April 28th, will be the LAST day of operation for Spanky’s. Doss has reached an age where she is beginning to flourish; she’s participating in her therapies and the placement of her shunt in January has allowed her to gain head control and improved her abilities across the board, so we have chosen to lay this to rest in her interest. Troy will be working elsewhere and Bevyn will spend some time at home with Doss in hopes of helping her to achieve milestones. She will soon be having therapy five days a week and we hope that her being at home, versus amidst the hustle and bustle of the business, will help us to put in some additional time for the sake of her progress.
With that, we’d like to express our deepest gratitude for you allowing us to serve you for the past two and half years. There have been good days, bad ones, long & short ones, but it’s an experience that we’re thankful to have been blessed with. You showed your ultimate support when the battle was among us; when Doss was born prematurely and we were sometimes closed and then had to altogether change our hours. We truly appreciate your understanding and support as we trudged life’s mountains and valleys. And we ask that you’d continue to pray Malachi 4:2 over her 💜
As of MAY 1st, this establishment will be AMY’S CAFE, under the direction of Troy’s Mother, Amy Sarkies. We ask that you’d support her in her endeavors here. We pray that she too will be prosperous in her pursuits.
